The Word.

'Blessed are those who thirst and hunger for righteousness for they shall be filled' Keep hungering for God, refusing to be satisfied until the reality of His life in you matches the promises of His word.You have to be aggressive, pursuing with eagerness for the enemies are many who will seek to stop you. First the enemy which is our own self who prefers temporal comforts to the cost of intimacy with God is always ready to hinder.Secondly; being preoccupied with various activities like work,family and even churh itself which prefers its own survival to us as individual being in a steady and an uninterrupted relationship with the Lord can also hinder. The third enemy himself-satan who seeks to devour and destroy us by bringing discouragement,temptation and discomfort at EVERY OF OUR ATTEMPT TOWARD INTIMACY WITH GOD. None of these enemies however are bigger than our God and if only we can persevere in our quest to knowing Christ and to be with Him there will be no enemy to stop us from enjoying the fulness of His presence.Knowiog God personally is not too difficult for anyone who wants it.We ourselves can do so little to build this intimacy,for God Himself is too good at it.We can only allow ourselves to be distracted from it.But even when we do, we must not let even our own failures stop our pursuit.May His grace be sufficient for us til the end.Amen.
