Son of pregnant Sudanese woman sentenced to death forced to live in her prison cell

The young son of the pregnant 27 year old woman, Meriam Yahia Ibrahim Ishag (pictured above), who was sentenced to death in Sudan last week for Apostasy (her crime was marrying a Christian man - read here) is forced to live in jail with his mom. Meriam who is reportedly shackled & bleeding in her prison cell, is expected to give birth to her second child on or before June 1st, Hollywood Life reports.
We thought that Meriam’s story could not get any worse, but it has. It turns out that while a very pregnant Meriam awaits her death sentence in prison, her precious little boy has been forced to live inside her prison cell with her. Meriam will also have to care for her unborn baby in that cell once it is born.
The UN is intervening and trying to save an 8 month pregnant woman from the death penalty in Sudan who married a Christian man….
Reports claim that the Sudanese government will not allow Martin’s father to care for him while Meriam is in prison solely because he is both a Christian and an American citizen. Continue...
Meriam is currently in prison because she refused to renounce her Christianity in front of a Sudanese court. Because she was born in Sudan and is therefore automatically considered a Muslim by their government, they have condemned her for committing apostasy.

Since Sudan sees her only as a Muslim, they refuse to acknowledge her marriage to a Christian man. Therefore, the court was also able to charge Meriam with adultery.

Meriam has been sentenced to 100 lashes for adultery, but will ultimately be killed when she is hanged for committing apostasy. The court has allowed her time to birth and nurse her baby before she will be killed.

Meriam’s husband has also been to visit her in prison when allowed and the description of what he found is almost unbelievable.

As soon as he heard that his wife was in prison and facing death, Daniel hopped a plane from his New Hampshire home and flew back to his homeland of Sudan.

After his visit, Daniel claimed that his wife was shackled to the floor inside her cell, and that the shackles were causing her ankles to bleed.

Daniel also mentioned that Meriam’s legs are swollen, and he fears she is not receiving the proper medical treatment she needs.

If this is the case, when Meriam goes into labor with her unborn baby, it could prove to be fatal.

Solange to write a tell-all book about abuse, Jay Z's cheating, Bey's fake pregnancy?

I absolutely don't believe this story because what sister would do that to her own blood? But let's carry it for entertainment purposes....:-). According to this week's In Touch magazine, Solange is writing a Tell-All book, and getting $20m for it. Below is what they wrote:
From cheating to abuse to fake baby bumps, Solange could reveal what's behind rumors that have plagued the famous family. . .
Solange is growing increasingly fed up with playing second fiddle to Beyonce, 32, and sources believe she's ready to spill the beans on everything from their estranged father to how Beyonce turns a blind eye to Jay Z's womanizing. "Solange was always in the background while Beyonce was the golden child," says a family friend. "She's sick of being held down and she's ready to fight back." Continue...

Nicki Minaj responds to a Forbes article claiming Iggy Azalea runs Hip Hop

Nicki Minaj has responded to a Forbes article published on May 19th titled “Hip Hop Is Run By a White, Blonde, Australian Woman.”, describing rapper Izzy Azalea as the new princess of hip hop. The mag said while Minaj has been 'oddly quiet for months', Iggy's rise in the charts has been swift.

The comment made Nicki feel some type of way and when asked about it on Power 105′s The Breakfast Club yesterday, Nicki said;
“Listen. All Forbes needs to worry about is my finances and when I’m going to be selling Myx Fusions for $250 million. That’s all they need to worry about. We rely on hip-hop connoisseurs and blogs for that kind of information. So we appreciate it, but no thank you.”

Will, Jada & Willow Smith questioned by Child Protective Services

;
“Willow was questioned on two separate occasions by social workers from Child Protective Services,” the source said. “Once in the presence of her parents, and the second time, Willow was alone with the social workers.”
The source continued, “This is how all investigations are handled. Both Will and Jada have also been questioned. At this point, the investigation remains open, and won’t be closed for at least another few weeks.”
“Will and Jada have been extremely cooperative with officials,” according to the source. “Of course, they aren’t happy that their parenting skills are under scrutiny, but they understand.”

On Wednesday May 14th, students of Caleb University, Imota Lagos, went on a rampage destroying school property after a school security personnel disrupted a Muslim student's prayers. The student had other grievances.

Well, it seems the school wants to make every student, whether involved in the riot or not to pay for damages caused that day. In a text message sent to students yesterday, Caleb University asked male students to pay N100k and female students to pay N50k. Bit of the text sent out below...

Male students are to pay N100,000.00 while the female would pay N50,000.00 by Bank Draft to offset damage to school property. Balance of Sch. fees should be paid into (account details). No student would be allowed into the University premises without evidence of payment of school accompany each student with a letter of undertaking to be of good behavior.

Letter from Víctor Valdés: The keeper says farewell to FC Barcelona with an open letter to the fans

"The time has come for me to say goodbye to you all .
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to say goodbye playing football, as I would have liked, but that’s life at times, and this year has been a bit cruel to me in this regard.
I’ve had time to look at where I am and what I’ve become. I can only think about the people who helped me to get where I am today. I dedicate this letter to them.
Oriol Tort, José Antonio Pozanco, Juan Manuel Asensi, Ursicinio López, Albert Benaiges, Antonio Olmo, Juan Carlos Pérez Rojo, Pep Segura, Quique Costas, Joan Vilà, Jordi Castel..... the coaches who made me into the athlete I always dreamed I would be. People who turned a ten year old kid into a goalkeeper at the Camp Nou, ten years later. Thank you all!.
Thank you to Louis Van Gaal, for showing the courage necessary to gamble on a talent that only he could see. He began building this historic Barça side, which I have been privileged to be part of. My heartfelt thanks
Thank you Frank Rijkaard, for giving me the confidence necessary, and allowing me to achieve glory, getting my hands on the European Cup in Paris. Wherever you are, I will be indebted to you for the rest of my life Mister.
Thank you Pep, for having opened the door to playing a game that was unknown to me, for guiding me along the road where one has to keep looking for success, and we did it together, right?. We’ll always have that Mister, and believe me, it will be eternal!.
Thank you Tito! Wherever you are, I thank you for having taught us not only the way to keep winning as a team, but also the strength and character needed to face life.
Thanks to all my colleagues with whom I’ve had the pleasure to work with, that involves wearing the Barça crest on our chests day after day, for making me feel important within the group that we developed over all these years. Because it all comes down to this, we are who we are, here and now. Thank you gentlemen!.
And of course I cannot forget the most important people, over these twelve years as a professional, wearing this shirt, my most loyal fans. Those people who, whatever happened, were always there to give me the support that a fighter always needs, proud to be there supporting me in the celebrations, giving your support in every game, sending me the positive energy that I have always felt, which kept me going all this time, because without it, it would have been impossible to do it alone.
Thank you, thank you, and a thousand times, thank you. I ask that you please don’t stop giving me that support.
Forever, FORÇA BARÇA!
Víctor Valdés Arribas".
